Home / Water Damage Mold Inspection
A leak gets fixed and the floor dries on the surface, but the moisture underneath may not be gone. After a leak, flood or AC overflow, Quality Mold Solutions checks whether moisture has led to mold and how far it reaches, so you know what work is needed before anyone opens a wall.
Mold Inspection After Water Damage
If a building material holds 20% moisture content or more and stays wet longer than 24-48 hours, there is a high potential for mold. That is why timing matters after any water event.
How we assess water damage
- Moisture mapping: invasive and non-invasive moisture meters trace where the water spread and how wet materials still are.
- Thermal imaging: an infrared camera shows damp areas behind walls, ceilings and floors.
- Humidity readings: a hygrometer shows whether the space is drying or still feeding growth.
- Testing where needed: air and swab samples sent to an accredited lab. Results from the accredited lab are typically back in 24-48 hours, in a written report with photos.
Assessment only
We do not dry out, tear out or remove mold. We tell you what is there, write a remediation protocol if one is needed, and after the work is done we come back for post remediation verification to confirm it passed.
